Drug User Survey - 2010

Britain's Biggest Drugs Survey

IDMU has handed out drug user surveys to people throughout the UK. A total of over 20,000 surveys have been returned since 1994, making it the largest and longest running drug user survey in the UK.

The IDMU survey is the only comprehensive annual survey studying consumption patterns
and prices of all commonly-used drugs.

The information will be published on this website and other media. It will be used to inform, clarify and update information about drugs prices, consumption trends, prevalence, etc.

Please submit only one survey per person, per year.

Please help us maintain our database of UK drug prices, the only drug prices database generated exclusively by drug users themselves.  This year we have greatly simplified the questions asked, and it should not take more than 15 minutes to fill in (depending how many drugs you use).

We ask you to rate all drugs according to how you personally judge them (marks out of 10) taking everything into account (pleasures, risks etc), whether you have ever used them or not.  This helps us monitor changes in attitudes of both users and non-users

Please give prices in pounds (£) sterling (European respondents please state prices in Euros, Rest of the world in US Dollar equivalent).

If you pay a range of prices (e.g £10 to £25) please give the price you most often pay.

Only give prices if you have actually bought or sold the drug yourself within the last year, or if you are sure of the prices paid/sold by people you know.

If any of the questions are confusing and do not allow you to give a reasonable answer, please explain in the comments box at the end of the survey.  This will help us improve our Drug User Survey in 2011.
